Us vs them???

This is just an idea at this stage... at the moment I can't do much until after Freshers Week, so as to gauge the levels of interest there is in this venture.

I am considering getting in touch with other university clubs and bringing in some competition. Most Unis have some form of Walking / Hiking / Mountaineering / Climbing Society, so if things go well over the next few weeks, I'll be getting in touch with various other clubs. We already have some contacts with Aberystwyth Walking Club from last year

This way, we could raise loads more money for charity, hopefully get more sponsership and create some more permanent links with fellow clubs.

Anyway, off to uni to spend all day sorting out stuff for the Freshers Fair. We are right next door to those heretics over at the climbing club, so we've gonna put on a good show! :)
